This car is a 1971 Royale RP-3A Formula Ford that was manufactured in England. The car is powered by a 1600cc Ford Kent engine and competes in vintage racing events with the Vintage Racer Group (VRG) club. Since the secondary on these headers is so long it tends to put a great amount of stress on the primary tubes at the header flanges and can lead to header failure. To solve this issue we build our Formula Ford headers from an American made 304 stainless steel that is Purge TIG Welded. All of our Formula Ford headers are built to our customers specs, but are always built using true merge collectors, thick header flanges and a high grade 304 stainless steel.
